Si Lito at Ang Mahiwagang Mundo ni C. J. Sanchez Mahirap ang pamilya nina Lito. Sila ay nakatira sa isang bundok. Sa edad na pitong taong gulang, siya ay natuto nang magtrabaho sa bukid kasama ang kanyang mga magulang. Sa hirap ng kanilang buhay ay hindi man lang siya nakapag-almusal bago pumasok sa eskwela. Isang araw, nagising na lamang siya sa isang gubat. Hindi niya alam kung saan siya naroroon at hindi rin niya alam kung saan patutungo. Sa kaniyang paglalakad ay may napansin siyang kakaiba sa dakong unahan, ito ay parang dulo nang kagubatan. Dali-dali siyang tumakbo at tumungo at nagulat siya sa kaniyang nakita - isang komunidad na may kasiyahan, ang lahat ng tao ay masaya at tila bang malayo sa problema.  Pumunta si Lito sa isang salu-salo at dahil sa kaniyang kumakalam na sikmura ay kumain siya nang kumain.
